Astrology Songs: Creating Music with Signs, Planets & Archetypes

After almost two decades of living and breathing astrology, I now feel that the archetypes speak to me almost constantly. As symbolized by my natal Mercury retrograde in the sign of Pisces (Mercury also happens to be the ruler of the 12th house in my chart), my consciousness has always been enchanted by the gentleness, subtlety, and sweetness of the unseen realms. The idea of astrology songs came from this realm and materialized in a relatively short period of time: I wrote about 70 songs in just a few weeks.

As Freud and Jung discussed on various occasions, the unconscious almost always finds a way to reveal itself in dreams, in the form of shapes or sounds. As I was in a euphoric state of inspiration, writing song after song, I felt a psychological breakthrough was taking place, something unprecedented:

Uranus was squaring my natal Sun, and Neptune was conjunct my Descendant. The gods of change were at my door, inviting me to open the vault and pave the way for the musical expression of the archetypes that had accompanied me throughout my adult life. Thus, Happy Saturn was born.

I intend to keep Happy Saturn a lifelong space for musical reflections on astrological archetypes. The videos on this public channel contain astrology songs (lyrics, images, and explanations) related to the particular archetype that has inspired the song. The songs are meant to teach and entertain, but perhaps also to provide an escape for those seeking refuge from the mundane.
